All registered Nurses and Registered Practical nurses' certificate of competence are verified with the college of Nurses of Ontario upon hiring.

All Health Care Aides working in nursing homes, hospitals, are hired upon successful completion of a Health Care Aide program or program of equivalence.

All employees must have an annual physical examination as part of the employment agreement.

All employees must have an updated C.P.R and First Aide Certificate to maintain employment.
